Is anyone else having a flashback to how DU was hacked

in light of this latest account by a victim of Moore?

When DU was hacked election night, what came up on my screen (and I assume everyone else's) was a graphic of Trump, driving a car, opening the passenger side car door and pointing a gun at the camera (viewer) with a caption something like "You're going for a ride."

As a rape survivor this made me immediately sick to my stomach. At that moment I knew they were going to steal the election.

Now, listening to the account of this woman who was essentially abducted and almost raped by Moore, I can't get that hacker's image out of my mind.

We are dealing with some very sick, perverse shit when it comes to the rabid right and its sociopath enablers.

I wasn't a registered member back then, but I did read the boards. I just remember the website not being able to load, and then getting a "timed out" screen.

Deliberately callous. I remember President Obama saying, "It's like they're proud of their ignorance," In the case of Moore/Trump die-hards, it's like they're proud of how callous and cruel they can be.

and had become a star member on 10/31 because I KNEW the election would be stolen. I saw that graphic and didn't understand what had happened. Even though I was new to the site, I was sick and sad at having lost my new found community during those awful days.

We are dealing with a raging dangerous disease in this country.

This whole thing makes me sick to my stomach, as well. What Moore did was bad enough. But, what really nauseates me is how so many people are defending that ratbastard. And, this business about getting the mother's permission--and the mothers giving it to them permission to date him...WHAT. THE. FUCK???? Randi Rhodes is discussing the whole thing now. I have a feeling that I'm going to need a shower before the show is over. and not because I'm headed to spinning class.
