Sheriff’s deputies investigating a domestic disturbance in Florida on Sunday uncovered a cache of potential explosives, as well as some 200 containers filled with unknown powders, acids and urine.

Detectives with the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, Hazmat units, firefighters and officers with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms were still in the scene in DeBary as of 5.30 am on Monday, more than 13 hours after receiving the initial disturbance call.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies arrived at a home in the 100 block of Bradwick Circle in DeBary at 4.11pm on Sunday after getting a report about an argument between Christopher Langer, 31, and his parents.

During the domestic dispute, a drunk Langer allegedly told his parents that he had placed an explosive substance inside a grenade.
