However, I fear that you may be correct.

Then the question will be: what will the US Senate do about it?

Possibly nothing.

There may be a sentiment of "outsiders telling us what to do" which is probably the best way for Moore to frame this.

As far as "what will the US Senate do about it" - there is something of an issue there. The general question of whether the Senate should refuse to seat an elected Senator on the basis of things that were fully known to the people who elected said Senator is a little different from, say, a Senator being expelled on the basis of something that was unknown to the voters or some act committed by the Senator after election. How does it play out long-term if it comes down to the proposition that 67 Senators can refuse to seat a newly-elected Senator on the basis of substituting their judgment for the voters? I dunno.

You're the lawyer and I wouldn't presume to criticize you on matters of law.

But if you don't know, I guess we all need to buckle up and hang on tight.

Best regards.

The Senate can do that, if they can get 67 votes to do it.

The question is, no matter how sympathetic the situation, should they do it on the basis of information which was clearly factored into the vote.

Alabama has always loved klansmen and other exceedingly uneducated ignorant fools. They will elect him.

they know all too well this shit is true! This may even bring Trump down. Trump's accusers need to be dignified as humans telling the truth too.

This is a cultural turning point. The pussy grabber tape was the tipping point, and has a lot to do with the swing to justice for victims and more media attention to intolerance of rape culture in all its forms. Thanks Trump for showing us men of power can be complete assholes!
