Not only would Congressional Republicans have covered sufficient evidence back in the 1990’s, but the very politically-minded George W. Bush administration would have prosecuted her to take out a 2008 Presidential candidate.

Seriously, can you imagine Karl Rove playing Mr. Nice Guy and urging legal forbearance if there was sufficient evidence for a successful prosecution?
