All those "sexiest man" things with People are just publicity arrangements. They almost always have something to promote. For Blake, it's his new album Texoma Shores. In 1985, Mel Gibson was promoting Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. The one exception I can think if is JFK, Jr.
