(6,237 posts)the woman involved doesn't really seem to be part of it. She said she doesn't want him to leave the Senate. As long as groper in chief is in the White House, Franken should stay right where he is.

(7,888 posts)Why do we allow liars and lies on the internet to gain any ground? As you know, my focus is keeping Cali intact not broken into parts as the GOP is working on. I have family living there. We need to beat the GOP at their own game.
I was merely trying expose this fraud.

(7,888 posts)imo, California is the "light on the shining hill". What are you and friends doing to support candidates running for office in Cali?

(28,136 posts)I have contributed to Applegate, spread the word of his candidacy, voted for him in the last election where we almost won, and intend to do so in 2018.

(7,888 posts)Forgive me for asking you to take one more step. In addition to voting for candidates who will represent the best interests of all constituents, how do we make sure we GOTV in 2018?

(67,782 posts)This whole thing stinks - the radio station now claims that the woman discussed this for eleven years with her friends, family, and co-workers. ELEVEN YEARS.
And not a single one spoke to any media outlets in those eleven years? But coincidentally the day before it came out someone (who apparently kept it to him/herself for eleven years) thought to let Roger Stone know about it?

If Al Franken is very short that's a reason to dislike him?

(5,106 posts)I'm still trying to understand the relevance. I guess that height equals qualification for office. By that standard Trump rates as well qualified (although he may be shorter than he claims). He is taller than Franken. Few idiots, however, have Franken's educational credentials. Both Trump and Franken graduated from Ivy League schools, but check out the honors they'd both earned at graduation. Rob Dew's credentials: not easily found.
