(54,506 posts)The only solo I saw in the video was by lead guitarist Angus Young (Malcom's brother). Is there another version out there where Malcolm takes a solo?? And if so, is there a link to it?

(65,427 posts)It is a great, singable solo though!
Taught many students that solo because they could actually do it while still having limited technique but it's so "guitary" that they learn something about playing!
But, it was Angus.
BTW: RIP Malcolm!

(65,427 posts)I don't play that way! I'm more linear, modal and a million note guy, but I know good when I hear it! Angus had a particular skill! All we have to do is listen!
His brother was a rhythm player, but his skill was making it sound big! Boy, was he good at that!

(54,506 posts)His brother, Angus, ACDC's lead guitarist is still going strong, though, from what I hear. Angus Young still counts as one of Rocks most formidable living lead guitarists.
