I can't believe it. His investigation is going to be a big factor for the foreseeable future and Time leaves him off the list.
I wanted to give him my vote because I think that he deserves it plus it would burn Trump.

(116,004 posts)They post an online survey for entertainment value, but the real decision is made by the editorial board and not on the basis of the survey. So it could be anybody.
Anyhow, maybe they're saving Mueller for next year, after he's taken down the whole sorry bunch.

(6,402 posts)Good or bad, a person that has had an outsized effect on things during the year. Mueller has not had that.
This could be a climate change year with a focus on the hurricanes through texas and the islands.
It could focus on any number of things.
Person of the year is just the title. It's far more than that. It's what has an impact.
