I said much the same to the columnist at the NYT who came out and said Franken should be removed because of people like Roy Moore. How stupid! Franken was lied about by a rw paid troll, end of story. Multiple people who were there said it never happened, and the picture was edited, not the original.

It is purely partisan and political on my part, but I agree that Franken should not resign. This is war against the Republicans and we pretty much need everyone, even if they have done things or are alleged to have done things, that are bad. Hell, I’d even take Menendez in a pinch, though he seems dirty. Possibly, anyway. If he’s a vote against the tax bill, let them both stay. Fuck it.

And of course, if either becomes a political liability then ditch them. I no longer care about the mythical high road when the other side is destroying the very fabric of our government. Don’t give a shit about who grabbed whose ass.
