Bear Alert!

Be wary the bears are out and about in the neighborhoods. Keep in mind bears eat meat...you are meat! Of course this is nothing new for those of us who have lived here for more than a few years. At any givin point there are near 500 bears in Anchorage. For clarification this is right across the street from my house in Muldoon.

Usually won't eat you right off. They will debilitate you and then stuff you under a log and come back late and chow down. Black bears will eat you. And it's any consolation they just don't eat people...they are cannibals...they eat each other too!
