Every image and video of child pornography is actually a crime scene recording, showing the rape, sexual abuse and often torture of a child. These are no “baby in the bathtub” photos. They’re not really even “pornography” in the normal sense at all.

Child abuse material depicts the most horrific and brutal moments in a child’s life. Law enforcement reports the victims are typically very young, often infants and toddlers. U.S. law enforcement has identified over 300,000 suspects in the U.S. alone trafficking in images of children being bound, gagged, raped and horribly abused.

The insatiable appetite for these videos and photos can only be supplied one way: through the rape and torture of more children.

Much of the global apparatus behind this marketplace lies overseas. But an estimated 50 percent or more of the victims are here in the U.S. That means that every day, criminals in the U.S. and abroad are commissioning the rape and torture of more American children. The incidence of these offenses dwarfs other types of cross-border crimes that get more news media coverage...

These laws are the only way to punish these criminals since most of their victims are too young or disabled to speak for themselves in court. Many are deranged for life and cannot live without trained care. Their future and freedom and who they could have been, has been stolen from them. The videos are the only way to convict the perps as they put them online to share with their friends and child pornography consumers.

What is illegal is the possession and distribution of actual films of such child abuse. If you view a cartoon of it, a CGI video of sex with children, or anything else that does NOT include the use of actual children, such material is legal. Given modern technology there is NO REASON AT ALL TO SEE SEX WITH CHILDREN UNDER 18.

Juveniles to get therapy for child porn Instagram account

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. (AP) - Prosecutors say three South Florida teens accused of creating an Instagram account to solicit and post explicit photos of other minors will participate in therapy and community service rather than face criminal charges.

The Broward State Attorney's Office reported Wednesday that the 13-year-olds - two boys and one girl - will undergo a juvenile diversion program that usually takes three to six months to complete.

Pembroke Pines police arrested the teens last month after a 10-week investigation. Police say the social media account encouraged its 500 followers to post nude and sexually explicit photos of minors to "expose" them.

Maria Schneider - head of the juvenile unit in the Broward State Attorney's Office - told the South Florida Sun Sentinel (http://goo.gl/Jzz45Z) that no potential victims have come forward or want to be involved in prosecution.
