I'm not looking to survive the zombie apocalypse, but we do get occasional ice storms, wind storms, etc, and some of the emergency tips and tricks are useful as well.

So ignore the parts about guns, the government, paranoia and hunkering in bunkers and there's still some useful things they can share.

There's a lot on useful info on homemade stuff that can come in handy that's for sure.
