Composer James Horner Killed In Plane crash
Source: IGN
Prolific Hollywood composer James Horner has been killed in a plane crash in southern California, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The news was reportedly confirmed by Horners assistant Sylvia Patrycja via a post on social media.
A short time ago CBS Los Angeles revealed that a plane registered to Horner had crashed 60 miles north of Santa Barbara, killing the pilot. The plane was a two-seater S-312 Tucano MK1 turbo-prop, but no one else has been reported on board. It was not immediately clear whether Horner himself was flying the plane but the 61-year-old was unaccounted for following the crash.
Jay Cooper, a lawyer for the Horner family, confirmed with The Guardian the plane was one of several that Horner owned and said that no one has heard from Horner, saying, if he wasnt in it, he would have called.

(3,166 posts)If they did that movie now, they'd make the alien so CGI'd up that the creature would look more ridiculous than scary..
I think James Horner also did the soundtrack for the classic action-comedy film, 48 Hours...

(3,496 posts)What a wonderful gift to the world to have composed such beautiful music. Braveheart and Titanic are 2 of my favorite movies, the experience would not have been the same without such gorgeous music.
