Milwaukee Calls Out More Poll Workers For Extra Turnout
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports:
Heavy turnout in Milwaukee led the city Election Commission to call out the reserves Tuesday.
Extra poll workers were sent to polling places at Becher Terrace, Bradley Tech High School, Keenan Health Center, Morse Middle School, Rufus King International School Middle Years Campus and Cass Street, 53rd Street, Grantosa and Parkview schools, said Sue Edman, the election commissions executive director.
The backup workers were needed to handle long lines, partly because a significant number of new voters were registering at the polls, Edman said.

(45,274 posts)I've talked to various people in different precincts, and everyone is talking about the heavy turnout.
Those who say that we'll match the 2008 turnout when WI went strongly for Obama? People who say that are grossly underestimating what's happening today.
All the rules about polling "likely voters" will fall by the wayside. That infamous Marquette poll will go down in history with "Dewey Wins by Landslide."

But you have that women in one particular county. I just don't trust the gop.
