New York civil rights violation lawyer David Perecman welcomes the new Stop and Frisk Watch app from the New York Civil Liberties Union. The app allows witnesses of police stops to record the incidents and send them directly to the NYCLU.

"This new app will make it easier for the NYCLU and civil rights violation lawyers to investigate NYPD stop-and-frisks and determine if and when minorities are being targeted, or if other civil rights are being violated," said David Perecman, founder of The Perecman Firm, one of New York's civil rights violation law firms.
Individuals who download the "Stop and Frisk Watch" app, can record questionable incidents of police stopping and questioning people with the press of a button, said the The New York Times. Filming is stopped with a shake of the phone and a setting will lock the phone once the video is stopped. Users can then send the video directly to the NYCLU...
