"This new app will make it easier for the NYCLU and civil rights violation lawyers to investigate NYPD stop-and-frisks and determine if and when minorities are being targeted, or if other civil rights are being violated," said David Perecman, founder of The Perecman Firm, one of New York's civil rights violation law firms.

Individuals who download the "Stop and Frisk Watch" app, can record questionable incidents of police stopping and questioning people with the press of a button, said the The New York Times.
