President Trump will participate in his first Medal of Honor ceremony on Monday afternoon, presenting the award to former Specialist Five James C. McCloughan, an Army medic who served in Vietnam.
The 71-year-old Michigan resident is a Vietnam veteran who was injured while saving 10 others as an Army medic.

(4,267 posts)Then again, there's that old saying about the broken clock. It was bound to happen eventually. Trump did well and actually managed not to say anything out of line for such an event.
I am glad that Specialist McCloughan received a dignified ceremony and recognition he more than deserved in his service to human life.
