US 'loses 60% of career ambassadors' since January

Source: BBC News

The United States has lost 60% of its career ambassadors since January, according to the head of the labour union that represents US diplomats.
"Leadership ranks are being depleted at a dizzying speed," Barbara Stephenson, head of the American Foreign Service Association (AFSA) chief, wrote.
Ms Stephenson, a former ambassador to Panama, says there has been a "decapitation" of top talent.
The BBC has asked the Department of State for a comment.
"The rapid loss of so many senior officers has a serious, immediate, and tangible effect on the capacity of the United States to shape world events," Ms Stephenson writes.
The former ambassador to Panama writes in a forthcoming issue of the Foreign Service Journal that the art of diplomacy must be defended under an administration that she argues appears bent on "dismantling government as we know it".

Hopefully Trump doesn't even last his first term. There's going to be quite a lot of rebuilding to do once he's gone.

Nambia.

The current theory they are working on is that Nambia exports covfefe, so they are also trying to locate the Covfefe Importers Association.

Meanwhile, Trump's Homeland Security is reportedly not making much progress bringing the perpetrators of the Bowling Green Massacre.

In the background, Trump has ordered the CIA to locate the manufacturing plant in China where Climate Change hoaxes are produced. They have told him "it will take a while".

Trump has tasked Sec Perry to work with Sec DeVos to create an interagency action plan for Combining Coal Innovation with Reduced Sexual Assault. Initial indications are that the first item is to grab all black pussy cats and measure just how visible they are in coal mines.

He said it in response to a question about the number of positions at the State Department that are remaining unfilled.

I saw it out of the corner of my for a split second and went to click on it, but it was gone. I had to do a search to find it again. It was too important to miss posting here.

Trumpism and his comrades are anarchists. They wish to dismantle the laws of the U.S. Government so that people are ruled by corporate regulations and autocrats like Trump.

I posted this once and was summarily blasted, but I'll say it again. Removing regulations and removing tax funding is anarchy. For God's sake, the holy grail of Republicanism---Lower taxes---is based on their public pronouncement, "we want to shrink government to to the size we can drown it in the bathtub."

Believe them! They are anarchists. They want government out of the way.

Prove to GOP voters that Government doesn't work by purging the ranks of anyone competent.

Honestly, if you were career State Dept. would you stay and be stained by the association?
