IMHO, a former entertainer (Franken, Schwarzeneger) or president's spouse (Clinton) or anyone for that matter who has not held any sort of public office before does not deserve to go straight to president. Do the work! Pay your dues first, if only to be on council or whatever. I want to see some humility in my prez. And I want to see a record re: how that person behaves while in office. Ideally a lifetime of some other public service outside of politics as well -
