Julian Assange may be forced to leave Ecuadors London Embassy, where he has been receiving asylum for the past five years.
The country is pursuing a third partycountry or individualto facilitate Assanges move from the United Kingdom, according to a Tuesday teleSUR report.
The foreign minister of Ecuador, Maria Fernanda Espinosa, said they are seeking the mediation of a third country or personality so that Julian Assange can leave the embassy in London, a teleSUR representative tweeted Tuesday morning of his interview with the foreign minister.
The move for Assange could reportedly be a result of the WikiLeaks founders involvement in politics. Ecuadors newly elected president Lenin Moreno issued several warnings to the Australian asking him to refrain from commenting on politics relating to Ecuadors allies.

(4,651 posts)seems like a "Assange to leave embassy" story surfaces periodically for various reasons. Wasn't he in ill health a year or so ago that prompted a story about him leaving?

(15,757 posts)Correa gave Assange sanctuary as a big "fuck you" to the US, and it appears that Assange is not being a gracious guest in the embassy.
The gloves are coming off, now that Correa is challenging Lenin Moreno and the referendum to limit presidential terms (which would prevent Correa running again in 2020).

And why bring food on the one visit? What the hell did she bring to him or take from him?
Just going from memory here so correct me if I'm wrong

There's something wrong with Assange. Any fool could have dug himself an escape tunnel to the sewers using little more than a teaspoon by now.
Do you suppose he likes embassy life?
Talk about house guests from hell...
