EXCLUSIVE. Trump's Attorney Says No Decision to Talk to Mueller

John Dowd, a lawyer for President Donald Trump, told The Daily Beast on Wednesday he will be the one to decide whether or not Trump sits down for an interview with special counsel Robert Mueller. Dowd also said he hasn’t made any decision on whether or not an interview will happen. Dowd noted that the president will only talk to Mueller if his legal team advises him to do so.

Trump told reporters on Tuesday that he is “looking forward” to talking to Mueller’s team. “I would do it under oath, absolutely,” Trump said. “You know, again, it’s—I have to say—subject to my lawyers and all of that—but I would love to do it,” he said.

According to Dowd, his lawyers haven’t decided whether to agree to an interview.

On Wednesday, Dowd released a memo noting how much information the White House has voluntarily turned over to Mueller’s investigators.

Often a defensive strategy is to turn over huge amounts of information to bury the other side - much harder to find the relevant info. I don't equate the volume of information with actually responding to questions.

Does anybody really think that Trump's lawyers would let him in the same room with Mueller under oath? Cheeto Mctweeto? Really? LOL. I have no doubt that Dump himself is probably stupid enough to think he can put one over on Mueller. But just about everybody around him knows better.

Think he wants to be president? Nope the Trump team is going to post pone the meeting with special council as long as possible then plead the 5th. Boom he is done with the 'Russiar thing'.

I believe Trump could careless about running again and he is not worried about being impeached AS LONG AS HE HAS PARDONED ALL HIS FAMILY MEMBERS before his removal from office.
