G7 summit: France condemns Trump 'fits of anger'
Source: BBC
Diplomacy cannot be dictated by "fits of anger", French President Emmanuel Macron warned after a G7 summit in Canada ended in acrimony.
...
Mr Macron's office said France and other EU countries would maintain their support for the final G7 communique.
"Let's be serious and worthy of our people. We make commitments and keep to them," a statement from the French presidency quoted by AFP news agency said.
"International co-operation cannot be dictated by fits of anger and throwaway remarks," it added.

But Canada?
They'll need Frank Luntz for a month to get hate rhetoric for Canada properly worded, seeing as how he'll have to start from scratch. I'm sure it will be popular with the Foxsuckers, but Luntz for a whole month will be VERY expensive. How he intends to accuse a non-existent Canada of collusion with the British in the War of 1812, I have no idea, but it will surely require every bit of his famous rhetorical skill. Watch for bottles of Canada Dry Ginger Ale to be smashed on the sidewalks by angry Republican nationwide (and watch their kids in tears as they see it being done).

(54,520 posts)I'm in Paris practically once a week for work, but my meals usually consist of a hastily eaten 4,50 shish taouk sandwich if I'm lucky enough to have the time. If there are any Americans writing off dinner up there on their expense account, someone else will have to tell you what the bill is. One thing you can bet on is that anyone writing off THAT kind of a meal probably IS a Republican. Normal mortals can rarely afford it, and only a Republican would try to get away with putting that on an expense report.

(54,520 posts)Not now, not 25 years ago. It fits that Trump chose him to advise him on the economy. A failed TV economist for a failing president. What kind of a loser does one have to be that his ego is boosted by the likes of Kudlow? I think Kudlow would be of more use as a weight loss counselor, seeing as how he makes me lose my appetite every time I hear him open his trap.

(23,203 posts)He thinks throwing howling baby tantrums makes him look strong, when they just reveal his utter stupidity, ignorance, lack of any class whtsoever and utter worship of Putin while disdaining liberal democracies. He only likes facist oligarchys where the people are little more than slaves, die young, & live lives of desperation while the rulers plunder their countries for their own personal profits.
This is what he wants for us & America. He wants to be the one sucking us dry while his family's money skyrockets and russia takes over as the dominant power.
