President Trumps trips to his Mar-a-Lago estate have cost the Coast Guard nearly $20 million since he took office, USA Today reported.
Records obtained by the newspaper show that taxpayers have shelled out more than $1 million for Coast Guard protection alone for each of Trumps trips to the Florida property. The president has spent 69 days of his presidency at Mar-a-Lago, according to a NBC News tracker.
The Coast Guard records cover all of Trumps trips to the estate, with the exception of his visit there last year with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
The estate and private club are both located on a piece of land between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, both of which require patrols.

Screw that. If Dirty Donny* is a billionaire he can pay for his own damn golden glorious goof-off golf game, and we can apply our hard-earned tax dollars to fixing the freaking national infrastructure, or something else worthwhile.
Republicans are totes sicko for squandering our tax money on freaking friviolities.

There certainly was at least one patrol boat in the Potomac during the tournament.
