President Donald Trump again mocked Sen John McCain (R-Arizona) on Saturday for McCains thumbs down vote on the Republican plan to repeal ObamaCare.
Though Trump did not mention McCain by name, he has attacked the senator several times in recent weeks for his no on the GOP measure and has blamed McCain for the collapse of the Republican effort to repeal the act.
Trump at a GOP rally in Nevada said McCain went thumbs down, on the bill, a reference to McCain using a thumbs down gesture to signify his nay vote.
"Nobody talked to him. Nobody needed to, and then he walked in: thumbs down. Its alright, because weve essentially gutted it anyway," Trump said of ObamaCare at the rally.

(16,955 posts)And he's PROUD of that!
I just can't comprehend how this whole group can be so PROUD of what they are doing to the citizens of these United States of America.
What happened in their lives to make them SO rotten in their souls?
They are politicians - voted in to serve "the people" via the Constitution. Do they even know what that is?
And so many claim to be "Christians" - and are supported by so many more who "claim" to be the same. Have they EVER read the Bible - the preachings of Jesus Christ?
The frustration and shame builds - what have we, the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, become?

They have been told over and over Democrats hate America, freedom and apple pie, so they should never listen to us. In effect, they have been programmed like a cultists to believe whatever the RW media says no matter how crazy it is.

(15,543 posts)& POWs. He does it every safe chance he gets. Oh, the five-time republican draft dodger likes to wrap himself in the flag at pretend promo propaganda setups, but if you examine his record you will find a long list of his lowbrow insults of our veterans, our POWs, our Gold Star Families, and even putting down our active duty troops. Screw that republican bullshit. Does Pooty Poot make him do this evil shit? Or is he just that much of a draft-dodging republican a-hole that he spews these pissey statement all on his own?

(12,604 posts)Why would Trump use a line about "gutting Obamacare" if it didn't get a big cheer? His rallies are nothing but applause lines, after all.
I guess none of his Deplorables have a pre-existing condition, or a loved one with a serious long-term illness, or the need for an expensive procedure. Or else they're all multi-millionaires.
In that case, go ahead and cheer, motherf**kers. November is coming.
p.s., I am getting tired of Donnie Two Scoops mocking Senator McCain. I may not have liked all of his political positions, but McCain has earned the respect of the entire nation for his military and congressional service. To have a five-time draft dodger making fun of him -- whether McCain has brain cancer or not -- is abhorrent.

Las Vegas (CNN)In a visit to boost one of the nation's most vulnerable Republican senators ahead of this fall's November election, President Donald Trump unveiled a new nickname for the Democrat running to unseat Sen. Dean Heller.
"Wacky Jacky," Trump said at the Nevada GOP convention, in reference to Rep. Jacky Rosen. "You don't want her as your senator."
. . .
At one point, after jabbing at "Wacky Jacky and Pocahontas," Trump claimed that Rosen and Warren "don't know how to say Nevada." The two say "Nev-ah-da," a pet peeve for the state's residents, rather than the correct "Nev-AD-a," Trump claimed.
However, as he finished his speech, it was Trump who made the mistake. "Thank you very much, Nevada," he said -- pronouncing it "Nev-ah-da."

(9,688 posts)about Jacky Rosen, and Sens. Warren and McCain - so inhumane, so undeserved- what I resent most of all is that this is his standard MO, and that it has worked for him all his life..
He has gotten where he is entirely through negative energy: dissing everyone who dares to question him or otherwise threatens him, shameless racism and misogyny, and playing on everyone's fears. This and his gleeful destruction of the environment, of our democracy and Constitution, on our long-time alliances.
He doesn't look like a happy person to me, and God knows I wouldn't want his life, or his awful family and tacky apartments, but still, by his measures, it seems to have worked for him: cheating on everyone, insulting everyone who doesn't flatter him, utter disregard for the law or any norms of human decency.
By now, shouldn't have our fellow citizens have wised up? I like to think that the light is beginning to dawn on people at long last, but, wow, why is it taking so long? How can so many people be so fooled?
