Trump supporter eyes moving factory to Mexico over tariffs
Source: The Hill
Pat LeBlanc, the chairman of EBW Electronics, voted for Trump in 2016 but told the Times that the tariffs are "killing us."
I just feel so betrayed. If we fail because the company is being harmed by the government, that just makes me sick," he added, saying that he expects that his profits in 2019 will be cut in half because of the tariffs.
EBW Electronics has suffered from those tariffs because of higher costs for components such as transistors, resistors and capacitors, the Times reported.
The company is currently based in Michigan, where it has been throughout its existence, but EBW President Cory Steeby said Trump's tariffs incentivize companies to leave the U.S.

(8,652 posts)I can't help it but why do I get so much pleasure from watching these Trump supporters get fucked?
The auto workers who abandoned the Democratic candidate for the siren sound of a charlatan. Farmers who bought into the Trump bullshit, now losing their farms after generations. Coal miners who held those stupid signs that read "Trump Digs Coal" losing their healthcare and facing the ever increasing problem of a lack of work, because the downward trend in the coal industry is the result of economics, not politics.
I can't help feeling that I knew this would be the outcome of a Trump election. That the first people fucked were going to be the very people who put him in office.
My reaction? Fuck them. By the way, I voted for Clinton and I'm doing great.

(573 posts)from Michigan went to Trump. I do not feel any sympathy for the almost 48% of the voters in Michigan who voted for him, and that includes you, Mr. LeBlanc.
