I believe this particular group has a long history of fraud, crime, shortcuts, treachery of various types, conspiracy, ends-justify-the-means behavior, etc. Which is why they are desperate and will try anything, legal or not. I also believe they have schemed and plotted since 2014 or earlier for this moment, along with oligarchs worldwide, and won't overlook any opportunity to get over on the rest of us once again.

Anything he says would need to be corroborated, by witnesses or other evidence. If the Buzzfeed story is accurate, Cohen's story becomes believable.
