Michael Cohen subpoenaed by Senate Intelligence committee
Source: CNN
(CNN)President Donald Trump's former personal lawyer Michael Cohen was subpoenaed Thursday to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee in mid-February, according to a source close to Cohen.
It is not clear how Cohen will respond. The source said that Cohen has the same concerns regarding the safety of his family that led him to try to postpone his appearance before a House Oversight Committee hearing.
Senate Intelligence traditionally does their interviews behind closed doors, not publicly.
A committee spokeswoman declined to comment.

(11,885 posts)Soon too. Trump will try to block them, or offer him a pardon or something. All others he'll instruct them to ignore their subpoena's completely, saying he'll protect them. He has to stop them one way or another from testifying under oath because he knows they'll have to either tell the truth and face crimes, they are involved in, or lie and commit perjury to protect him and themselves. He understands this well, so expect him to obstruct this from happening by abuse of his powers claiming he can do that.
