CNNs public relations division is pushing back on President Donald Trumps conspiracy-mongering over the footage they obtained from Roger Stones arrest.
Since CNN obtained exclusive footage outside of Stones house this morning when he was taken into custody by the FBI, Trump got on Twitter Friday to blast the witch hunt and question how the network knew to be there. he can't pardon future crimes, and he can't pardon state-level crimes, and he probably can't pardon himself. but that's about it for restrictions on the pardon power.
that said, improper use of the pardon power could lead to impeachment and removal, or could cost him politically. but these days, who knows....
