...Because some people who work at fire departments around the country, support Mr. Trump. This sort of thing will make the rounds of fire and police departments around the country. Lying about the size of crowds and lying that a particular fire department allowed in by "special permission" more than what is allowed is very stupid indeed.
...Far more stupid than is usual. Numbers at events are controlled for many reasons. Saying the fire department allowed in more than allowed, is saying the fire department gave special permission for Mr. Trump. Mr. Trump is lying about what the fire department said....
..And when he does that...he could loose support of fire departments..everywhere not just El Paso Texas. Not just the fire departments, but also the police departments who often support fire departments..

The campaign was told because of construction and blocks to the exits
the fire dept. said only 1,000 could be admitted to one of his speeches
but Trump went on to say that the democratic mayor limited his crowd size
and besides over 5,000 people were outside who wanted to get in.

1) The mayor released a statement that it works with the C.F.D. they
always have the last word as per safety.

2) I had driven by the venue when Trump was here and he would have been
lucky to have 100 people outside of the venue.

Or they will say the media lied about what the fire department said.
