Walmart flexes in the fourth quarter, beats all expectations

NEW YORK (AP) Walmart beat expectations on quarterly profit and revenue, and e-commerce sales surged during the critical holiday period.
Shares moved sharply higher before the opening bell Tuesday.
Walmart is the first major retailer to deliver fourth-quarter results and its performance provides more evidence that efforts to expand services online as well as in the stores are widening the gap between itself and traditional rivals while at the same time, its holding its own against Amazon.
The huge numbers from the worlds largest retailer are especially encouraging after a very weak December retail sales report last week from the U.S. Commerce Department led many to fear that consumers had gone into hiding.

I know you and I sure has hell don't get one.............................amazing, and people still are forced to shop in these libertarian jerks stores, they own over 87% of the combine wealth in this country compared to the bottom 90%.....................amazing.................

(10,242 posts)So, how many people has Alice Walton run over in her drunken driving rage? She was drunk driving one time and a cop pulled her over, probably afraid she would kill someone else, and the cop got fired. She was drunk driving but the cop got in trouble.
Capitalism buying up get out of jail free cards for all the drunk rich old ladies. Here's hoping you don't live near rich drunks who like to drive.
