top former staffer who worked for Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) a moving to jobs in the White House, the Daily Beast reported Tuesday.
Until January, Nunes chaired the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. He lost his gavel and many staff positions when Democrats took over the House of Representatives after winning the 2018 midterm elections.
Scott Glabe, who was the deputy staff director, has moved to the White House Counsels office.
Glabe started working for Nunes on the House intelligence committee in January 2016, according to the congressional staff database Legistorm. He began as deputy general counsel, then became policy director, and then deputy staff director, according to the site. His worked there during a time of extraordinary tumult, as Republicans and Democrats on the panel warred over how to investigate Russian efforts to interfere in the 2016 election, The Beast explained.

After the revelation that McCabe shared information about the counterintelligence investigation of Trump with key members of Congress, which Nunes immediately shared with Trump, Nunes deserves to be charged with treason for helping a Russian asset stay in the White House.
