..............................................
Mudd, himself a former intelligence official at the CIA and FBI, told host Wolf Blitzer that if anyone was spying, it wasnt the FBI it was
Let me tell you something, said Mudd heatedly. There was spying and encouragement of spying. Its a presidential candidate encouraging a foreign adversary to steal information about an American presidential candidate.
Thats the American presidential candidate, in this case Donald Trump, saying Hey Russians, where are Hillarys emails?' said Mudd. Thats the presidents son encouraging a foreign adversary, in this case a lawyer, to go to Trump Tower, saying I know theres stolen information, maybe Id like to see it. Thats a presidential adviser, Roger Stone knowing that theres stolen information from a server, saying Im happy to talk to the intermediary, that is WikiLeaks, that will publish that information.'
If we want a foreign adversary and Rudy Giuliani said this was okay, talking about the Russians if we want a foreign adversary to steal stuff and publish it, let me tell you who encouraged that, thats the president. Thats stealing. Thats spying.

Anytime I hear Trump say something bad happened to him, its a 100 percent guarantee hes lying, and that hes the one who actually did it to someone else.

Classic Trump projection with a dash of outrage and fake concern. The enemy of the ppl is his best projection. He actually thinks he is pointing a finger at someone else. The key is to view his name-calling as if it were a boomerang; then, follow it to its source.

Psychological projection or perhaps an ingrained defensive habit--either way it is a huge tell

It may now be an ingrained defensive habit, but it started deliberately
