(6,025 posts)I remember thinking he looked like death warmed over. Hope its just dehydration or mild flu.

(16,254 posts)He didn't look good and stumbled over his words a bit. I would imagine the stress and long hours are getting to him. You can only climb a few roadblocks before exhaustion takes over and he's had more than a few of those since Barr came onboard. Trump was enough strain, but add Barr to it and who knows what will happen? I hope he goes to the doctor.

(41 posts)Saw him on Maddow last night, He coughed several times. Don't know if that means anything. Maybe just a little under the weather or has a bug.

Sure hope he's as fine as his tweet afterward says.

Imagine even party leaders require frequent emotional regrouping to handle this level of stress day after day. Deep breath, release.........

(58,785 posts)that have become normal for these guys would kill me all by itself. But then trying to care for a new baby would probably put me in the hospital these days. Life is slow, and if I never checked the news, good.

Appreciate everyone's concern. Was very warm in the room this morning, was obviously dehydrated and felt a bit ill. Glad to receive fluids and am feeling much better. Thank you for your thoughts.

(130,144 posts)I can see how that happens - if you know you are going to be engaged for some time, you don't want to drink too much beforehand or you'll need to use the restroom - often right in the middle of whatever you are participating in. But then in conditions such as that, you can get dehydrated by making that decision too.

(220 posts)instead of Chairman Nadler. He is a gentleman and a Patriot (everything Trump is not). I live in Mexico because it is cheaper and I live primarily on my SS. But I am thinking (and leaning that direction) of moving back to the states if I can find a cheap enough place to live. 2 reasons; this damned heat might kill me (I am 76) and besides the heat I want to do more in the 2020 election than I can do from here. I spend a lot of hours everyday on net keeping up with the news and watching MSNBC. And I do a lot of emailing from here. But I want to do more.
Everyone say a prayer for Chairman Nadler tonight. We need him up and well.
