White House: Mueller's 'Moving On' And 'Everyone Else Should Do The Same'
Source: TPM
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders brushed off special counsel Robert Muellers remarks on Wednesday, calling on everyone to move on from the Russia investigation.
The Special Counsel has completed the investigation, closed his office, and has closed the case, Sanders said in a statement. After two years, the Special Counsel is moving on with his life, and everyone else should do the same.
Sanders also claimed that Mueller does not plan to testify before Congress, though thats not what the special counsel said. During his press conference, Mueller asserted that his potential testimony wouldnt provide additional information on the investigation beyond what was outlined in his report, but he did not explicitly decline to testify.

(1,242 posts)How is Sara Huck Sand able to keep a straight face when she says this stuff? Is she not aware she is saying it out loud? Even comedic actors break character sometimes. Maybe there is an ongoing contest within the white house or among the administrations spokes people who could say the most outrageous crap without breaking up?

(958 posts)He basically stated that the office of Special Council is unable to bring charges against a sitting President. It is now time for the Congress to do its job. Impeach and then convict. Once Trump is out of office, prosecute.
