NFL owner Dan Snyder files $10M lawsuit over false sex trafficking stories

Washington football team owner Dan Snyder filed a $10 million lawsuit on Friday against an Indian media outlet that published stories accusing the 55-year-old of participating in sex trafficking linked to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, according to court documents.

Snyder's legal team says the website MEAWW.com published an article suggesting that an impending media report would expose Snyder's alleged involvement in sex trafficking. The story on the website was based on anonymous Reddit posts, including one that charged "[Snyder] is getting [arrested] for sex trafficking. He was on [Jeffrey] Epstein's list too."

Another Reddit source used for the article said Snyder was considering renaming the Redskins "The Washington Epsteins."

I fully support going after people who post things like this if its false. Its the only way to stop or slow it. Because if you dont, it just gets worse. For everyone in the public eye. Look at the shit on Facebook every day

Now the whole world will know the story. I was completely unaware of it until now. If the story has no truth methinks it's better to ignore it or laugh it off. Now there will be a whole bunch of ambitious journalists digging for dirt. I'd take my fathers advice if I was slandered and "never wrestle with a pig. they love it and you just get dirty."
