Russia publishes German army meeting on Ukraine

Audio of the video-conference meeting was posted to social media by the head of Russia's state-run RT channel.

The officers discuss how the missiles could hit the Kerch Bridge, which links Russia to the illegally annexed Crimea.

Germany's chancellor Olaf Scholz on Saturday called the apparent leak "a very serious matter and that is why it is now being investigated very carefully, very intensively and very quickly".

According to Der Spiegel magazine, the videoconference was not held on a secret internal army network but on the WebEx platform.

This hardly seems like an oops, but maybe. I'm inclined to believe this was to signal to Putin that Europe is not going to let Russia Trump on Ukraine.

and all his resources he would need to back it up which means he would have to pull out a lot of the already sick and tired soldiers from Ukraine. He's over extended as is. Will Belarus and other Russian allies join? Nope.

But it may give an opening for the opposition to Putin.

it would be a NATO country striking the territory of a friendly non-NATO country.

...NOT an attack on Russian soil, so Putin wouldn't have zero legitimacy in retaliating against Germany.
