Trader Joe's recalls chicken soup dumplings due to possible plastic contamination

Trader Joe’s is recalling over 61,000 pounds of their steamed chicken soup dumplings due to the possible contamination of hard plastic from a permanent marker-type pen.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the products are in 6-ounce boxes with plastic trays, containing six pieces.

The dumplings, made on Dec. 7, 2023, are under the name, “TRADER JOE’S Steamed Chicken Soup Dumplings” with the lot codes “03.07.25.C1-1” and “03.07.25.C1-2.”

The products were shipped nationwide, with the establishment number “P-46009.”
