Nevada fake electors won't stand trial until January 2025 under judge's new schedule

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Six Republicans accused of submitting certificates to Congress falsely declaring Donald Trump the winner of Nevada’s 2020 presidential election won’t be standing trial until early next year, a judge determined Monday.

Clark County District Court Judge Mary Kay Holthus pushed the trial, initially scheduled for this month, back to Jan. 13, 2025, because of conflicting schedules, and set a hearing for next month to consider a bid by the defendants to throw out the indictment.

The defendants are state GOP chairman Michael McDonald, national party committee member Jim DeGraffenreid, Clark County party chair Jesse Law, Storey County clerk Jim Hindle, national and Douglas County committee member Shawn Meehan and Eileen Rice, a party member from the Lake Tahoe area.

Each is charged with offering a false instrument for filing and uttering a forged instrument, felonies that carry penalties of up to four or five years in prison.

so they can get let off. It's a shoot the moon situation. If they convicted they will either die in jail or come out so old they won't care.

It's all or nothing now. They know what they did wrong last time.

We were told Mueller would save us.
We were told two impeachments would save us.
And then we were told the 2020 election would save us.
Then we were told Merrick Garland would save us.
And then that Jack Smith would save us.
And Fani Willis would save us.
Now we are being told that we will have to pull out all the stops in 2024 to save ourselves - which didn't help much in 2020.

Since 2020, and winning an election, we still have the same sketchy head of the FBI - who could have done many things differently, including making it known that their source in the Hunter Biden case was working for the Russians.
Louis Dejoy is still postmaster general, despite clear attempts to derail the 2020 election. The architects of the coup are still walking free - some of them holding a sizeable number of seats in congress. And numerous rights that Americans had are being taken away by an administration the electorate voted to get rid of.

Much of the blame must go to Merrick Garland, but he should have been replaced within three months of taking office - and making it clear he had no interest in doing anything but coasting for retirement
