Donald Trump Biopic Premiering Next Month At Cannes

The Cannes Film Festival on Thursday announced “The Apprentice,” a fictionalized biopic on the professional rise of Donald Trump decades before reaching the White House, will premiere at the festival this May, an announcement made on the same day would-be-watchers got a first-look of actor Sebastian Stan portraying the former president.

Trump's cult is prone to outbreaks of threatening behavior. Unless of course the movie glorifies the object of their worship.

Even when Trump was in his late 20s, he didn't have a dimpled chin and chiseled jaw.

Though not quite weaselly enough. There was something rather slimy about young Donald Trump. I wonder if the actor captured that.

Trump was already parting his over by his ear in the 90s. It was darker too.

and for awhile, it looked like he penciled his eyebrows darker. His lack of self-awareness apparently has been with him for all of his life.

It was written by Gabriel Sherman who also wrote The Loudest Voice in the Room about Roger Ailes.
