So basically he can kill his oponent with SEAL Team Six but he can't do the stuff alleged in the indictments - as per his own lawyer just now to the handmaiden?

(23,158 posts)He seemed totally onboard with the outrageous plan from the other fascists in the room to not address this case and instead send it back to the appellate division to ascertain what is private and what is public - IN GENERAL. They nor he want
this case to be heard mainly because they know tsf is guity and are trying their best to protect him while keeping this fact hidden.
They 100% want a right wing government with no controls that favors the rich and hurts the poor and middle class at every turn and will do everything possible to ensure that happens - with no consideration for the constitution or the American people.

If, after all, there is presidential immunity even just for official acts, Trump (not Biden, of course) could officially refuse to obey the Supreme Court decisions, even officially arrest them, even make an executive order taking away their power.
And John Roberts is craven enough that apparently that doesn't bother him?

(10 posts)Just remember one thing Trump will be tried and convicted. He will not win this election and then a trial after the election will proceed.

(15,290 posts)She read the list of charges and after each one asked "private or official act?". Sauer's answers were "private acts" on the ones she cited including the fake electors scheme. That's important because all parties agree that private acts are not covered under any sort of immunity. She even floated a compromise with Dreeben of only prosecuting the "private acts" and dismissing the rest. Smith doesn't want to, but a trial with witnesses and documents that could occur before the election still would be worthwhile, imo.

(23,158 posts)Fuckery of the highest order is their only intent, the complete overthrow of the system that made them Gods. How stupid they are to think they can trust tsf and that he won't overthrow the system that elevates them to such extremes.
