Donald Trump's Law Firm Doesn't Want to Represent Him Anymore

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by Yonnie3 (a host of the Latest Breaking News forum).

Source: Newsweek

A law firm wants to withdraw from representing Donald Trump, citing a breakdown in relations, court documents show.

In a filing to a Manhattan court, the law firm—LaRocca, Hornik, Greenberg, Rosen, Kittridge, Carlin and McPartland—said there had been an "irreparable breakdown in the attorney-client relationship."

The firm, which has represented Trump and his election campaign for several years, had been defending the former president in a lawsuit filed by A.J. Delgado, Trump's former senior advisor who said she was fired after she became pregnant by her supervisor during the 2016 presidential campaign. She was Trump's director of Hispanic outreach at the time.

Delgado is suing the Trump campaign and Trump's former advisers Reince Priebus and Sean Spicer, claiming gender and pregnancy discrimination. All the defendants have denied any wrongdoing in the case.

Maybe it's all been going to an offshore account and the entry of "legal fees" has been miscategorized in his accounting (a practice for which he is currently in criminal court).

... and that was before all these criminal trials started. It's not too puzzling where the money is going. Where he's getting the money, that's what we should be wondering about.

The judge might just tell you to finish out the case and collect later.

It's easier to say you have irreconcilable differences and can't come to agreement on how to handle the case. Especially if you sidebar ethical concerns about how they are directing you.

Being so disgusting that no one can stand being in the courtroom with him?

When the judge told his lawyers to "control your client", he was referring to his diarrhea of the mouth, not the actual kind.
He may have to be more specific in the future........

... and break the law every chance he gets. That's all Chump knows how to do. What reputable law firm wants to put up with that nonsense? They figure it's not worth losing their license to practice law, even if Chump does finally pay them.

and not because he's guilty as it gets, it's because he famously thinks he knows it all, won't listen to anyone else, and won't obey legal orders because he thinks he's above the law (and has been, for 78 years).

When a client is completely out of control and lawyers can't do their jobs because ot it, they will usually fire him or her. Most clients, even the narcissists, finally get the point. Most clients aren't him. He'll just keep going through lawyer after lawyer, expecting them to do what he wants instead of giving him good legal representation.

The spectacle might be funny in a schadenfreude sort of way if the man wasn't such a clear danger to us, together with his completely unhinged cult.
