2 ICE officers killed, 1 wounded at federal office building in Long Beach

Three immigration officers were involved in a shootout at the Long Beach Federal Building on Thursday evening, police said.

Two officers were pronounced dead at the scene and the third was sent to a nearby hospital, according to aerial communications from Long Beach police.

The incident occurred shortly before 6 p.m. Thursday on the seventh floor of the building located at 501 W. Ocean Blvd., police said.

Initial reports described two people involved in the shootout, including a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer.

She worked in that building until a year or so ago. She is now a "short timer" in a nearby facility.
I don't think she caught this story before she went to bed.
