No one expected President Trump to win over his skeptics in one speech. And judging by some of the congressional reaction to his first State of the Union address on Tuesday, its possible he exacerbated the divisions. Democrats largely sat stone-faced as Trump called for unity, then pushed a sharply conservative wish list for 2018, which included curbing legal immigration and welfare programs.
See for yourself. Weve annotated the body language from lawmakers during six key moments of Trumps speech.

(33,596 posts)I read something in the Post every day and have never encountered limits. Whatever I'm doing wrong, I hope it continues.
Posting just the photos wouldn't give the full effect; the analysis for each is good stuff.

(36,508 posts)Just a little copy and paste, then viola, it's out there for all to view.

Not your fault.

(33,596 posts)I don't even have any cookies for the Washington Post. It never asks me to login. Their coverage of campaign and subsequent issues makes me feel I need to subscribe, though.
I'm using Firefox with uBlock Origin and it's set up to "ask every time" regarding cookies.

(2,192 posts)And then cancel online. I'd never subscribe to the NYT because they make you call in to cancel, so they can whine at you about staying.
Also, because they're in the tank for Trump and, especially, Melania.
