America's poor becoming more destitute under Trump, UN report says

The report notes that the US has highest child mortality rate of 20 rich countries (OPEC comparison). It also has among the highest child poverty rates in the developed world, at 21%. It also considered obesity rates, income inequality and incarceration rates.

It found Trump's policies seem "deliberately designed to remove the basic protections from the poorest, punish those who are not in employment and make even basic health care into a privilege to be earned rather than a right of citizenship."

"Contempt for the poor in US drives cruel policies," Alston, the UN Special Rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights, told CNN.

"The Trump administration has brought in massive tax breaks for corporations and the very wealthy, while orchestrating a systematic assault on the welfare system," he said. "The strategy seems to be tailor-made to maximize inequality and to plunge millions of working Americans, and those unable to work, into penury.

He stole it all from the Russian people & this is precisely the "by design" plan for the USA.

Stop it in November or suffer as the Russian people have.

This has been GOP plan since Reagan and probably before. Their gameplan is simple: convince racists and bigots that minorities are stealing from Good American White People. And because hatred is so deeply embedded in so many, it has worked. We are the only nation in top twenty nations economically that does not have a form of universal healthcare. Haters will gladly punish the poor even when they are killing themselves in the process.

for the retail sector. Next will be Steel and Aluminum dependent Jobs.

Homelessness is Exploding because of High cost of Rent. Foreign Money is buying whole neighborhoods just to clear affordable Housing for new Homes and high end Apartment Buildings.

New so called affordable Rentals in Reno Nevada are going for 1700 bucks for a one Bedroom.

And yes,as a kid,do remember people going to jail for non payment of debts. So,we sure are headed in that ugly direction and that is why November is to friggin important.

Remember,Nancy Pelosi is the only one who can keep Donald Trump from Prison.
