But this is like stopping in the middle of a novel and saying "this is how the story ends" If i remembered correctly, money was borrowed to finance the stimulus and until the money is paid back you cannot exactly make any final conclusions on the result. I know I know we should not care about deficits and debt but at least work the deficit and debt into the story cos the Greeks can tell you its not over until that fat Benjamin sings.

4. Trolling? The GOP exploded the deficit with unpaid tax cuts for the rich, unpaid wars, unpaid

Medicare-D, and unpaid bloating of the military. The stimulus had to occur to stop the bleeding. It worked. Plain and simple. THAT was the INTENTION of the stimulus, and there should have been even more. We will solve our deficits by ending the tax giveaways to the deadbeat rich, ending the corporate tax loopholes, ending the remaining war, and reducing military spending to sane levels. We also need to simply raise the cap on the SS deduction so the rich are paying their fair share, and by increasing Medicare deductions also on top income earners while also squeezing out waste in that program. There is plenty of money. The problem is that too much is concentrated in the hands of too few.

Yes, the republicans are even worse on deficit spendings, they cut taxes in the middle of 2 wars something that has never been done in US history. They claim to be infavor of limited govt but limited only in terms of social saftey net spendning.

All I am saying is the story doesnt end until the money borrowed to finance the stimulus is paid off

I don't believe the unemployment numbers. They have been rigged since Raygun tried to count the military as employed but NOT count them when they returned home.

Obama has put his touch to the unemployment numbers by reducing the total laborforce population rate and brought the unemployed numbers down 3% without creating a single job. But you can't blame him. We've allowed every president to do it without our complaint.

But my real concern, what should be every American's concern, is the TRADE DEFICIT. It's hugly out of control and rising faster than a speeding bullet. It's current record level is $84 Billion. It's a huge record high defict and such a giant inbalance this country has never seen. The highest I was able to find was $68 Billion in 2006.

This is crazy.

This is dangerous.
