I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that pundits shouldn't let their guests take over their shows. Cruz, by they way, is an intelligent man. He was saying stupid shit that stupid people want to believe so that they will stupidly send him money. Scheiffer denied him free air time to execute his scam.

It would have been wonderful to see Cruz talk his crap and have Schieffer call him out as a liar. But Schieffer is not willing to do that sort of thing. And even if he was, his leash isn't loose enough to give him the freedom to do it. And even if it was, I don't think Old Bob really has the cojones for it. And even if he did, Cruz just would have snarked and said something about not needing to be lectured to.

So it's better (alas) that Senator Crud was edited -- and that's what it was. Not "censored" after all. But "edited" to make him seem less crackpotty.

2014 is the last year America will have to save itself from barbarians like Cruz. If the Dems lose the Senate and the GOPs keep the House, too, I doubt the people will ever recover power. (It's ironic and painful to admit it, but it would, of course, be the very "people" who would be voting their own freedoms and dreams down the sewer.)

He will bring those jobs back through a clever strategy of continuing to hold endless hearings on Benghazi and and the so-called IRS Scandal. In other words, don't expect those new jobs any time soon.
