It's some kid's channel, but at least it's not one of the religious nutjob channels.

Because he is not interested in debating Nye, he is just interested in proselytizing and using Nye for credibility and to make money for his Creation Museum. Nye wiped the floor with Ham. This is bad, because wiping the floor with Ham can attract flies and bacteria.

sadly even though on points and debate merits Nye took it, Ham was the winner in terms of PR - got his agenda out there, got tons of visibility for his website, and got his name recognition up

creating marriage and Jesus dying for people's sins and you have to believe that God loved everyone so much that he sent he son to be tortured and killed and you must believe this or else you will burn in eternal Hell fire.

That is where he looses me. If he were to say that in the very beginning we don't know how things started so we believe that a God did it as opposed to somehow it started with a molecule I would take him more seriously. Because no one really knows what started the very first molecule or God, no matter what your belief.

a figment of their own imagination. It does not come from their holy book. It comes from some at the top declaring it to be right and true. Just like the Mormons believed in plural marriage and how that was the will of God. Then when they realized they were becoming unpopular because of it they just said, "OK forget it, we want one man and one women now"

I raked up leaves in my yard, mopped the floors, emptied the dishwasher, did the laundry, painted the fence and then checked and my wallet didn't magically fill with cash. (...but I'll check under the pillow to see if the work fairy left me any gold or silver.)

Richard Dawkins uses it to demonstrate that evolution means making due with what is already there.

The laryngeal nerve in fish is a straight line from the brain to the throat but since fish don't have necks and their gills take the place of our lungs their heart is located far forward. As we evolved the existing wiring was inherited. This leads to the astonishing fact that the same nerve now has to go down around a large vein atthe heart and back up to the throat. In the giraffe it becomes most obvious.

credibility. Outside of fundamentalist who are also absolutely convinced creationist - I cannot imagine him convincing anyone. While I am quite certain that Mr. Nye at least sowed the seeds of critical thinking in the minds of a lot of creationist leaning people during this debate.
