What I understand is that this guy fought against regulation and he "assumed" (ass u me) that the chemical corporation was doing everything in their power to make sure that all security measures were being taken care of. Having the responsibility to lead his state, wouldn't that require this guy to do his due diligence and not assume?

I feel Rachel should have asked him..."Senator, if you had not assumed and taken the leadership to investigate, you know, just to confirm and let the World know that your assumptions were correct, do you think this accident could have been avoided?"

I think Rachel treated him with kids gloves when he doesn't deserve it.

That is my view and I will accept any corrections.
