With language everything is context.

Sometimes in politics claims are made to stifle criticism, "That's sexist!", or, "That's anti Semitic!"

Sorry, criticism is allowed without being subjected to false claims of sexism.

Now, this is not to say that I favor sexist language. In fact I do not favor sexism of any kind.

Exactly what he said, when everything is deemed sexist, nothing will be perceived as such

Of course there are many things said about Hillary and so many other women, that are code. But this list is ridiculous. If they want to be taken seriously, they need to trim this.

Not to say that there aren't sexists out there that won't use every single one of those words in a derogatory manner toward her for being a woman.

Because it plays right into the right wing meme that the left is what the right says they are.

That someone played the forbidden word list to its most absurd extension and attached it to Hillary.

It must be fiercely difficult to be a female politician. You must project your voice without yelling. Sarcasm seems different coming from a female than a male during a debate. And now the forbidden word list which makes even long time feminists like me whither.

About the list:good luck with that. What a turnoff.

Sometimes we notice it but most can't believe people can be so manipulative...and we often fall for it.
But this is carrot and stick politics, and that is how you drive the donkey where you want it to go...offer them something just out of reach and if they hesitate inflict a little pain to move them in that direction...the forbidden word list is the stick.

We are supposed to defend it because we defend women and it is about woman...and then confirm the meme.

... but every indication is that it is real.

It is exactly this kind of fanaticism that will put a Repuglican in the White House in 2017.

bad judgment to go around. Cenk is correct when he says most of these common words must be taken in context. This group certainly doesn't help fight the problems that plague women every day.
