TYT: Why Couldn't Ted Cruz Join Military?

Cenk Uygur (http://www.twitter.com/cenkuygur) host of The Young Turks discusses Ted Cruz and his regret that he never joined the military.

"Consistent smarmy smile generator and Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz was asked recently if he had ever considered joining the military in an interview with John Harwood of CNBC. He stated that he had considered it but that he had decided to go to college instead, stating that his not serving was something that he always regretted.

I hate Cruz and all republicans. I do not require my politician to have military experience. President Obama has none, the only Democratic candidate for 2016, so far, has none. What I do have an issue with is pandering to the military, thanking me for my duty when you really could give a crap or other wise just sucking up.

Why did he wait until he was 44 to talk about his regret?

He is the ultimate narcissist. Every action and statement is designed for attention. What a pathetic human being he is.

Same thing. I'm retired military and I just don't want to hear from anybody who did not serve......"Thank for your service" means nothing to them or to me!

If Cruz had really wanted to join, he would have. I call BS on his alleged regret.

Cowards die many times. Valiant taste death but once

But, speaking as a veteran, I am grateful for your non-service, cuz you're a dink

It kinda runs in their party. Mister 5 deferments himself (chaney). W deserted from the national guard. I won't even mention, what all Nugent did to avoid the draft. All fine examples of the men in the republican party.
