as well as all over the neo-confederate south, ALWAYS been here. It's just that the skin color of my POTUS and the fear that generated, with the help of fox news, rushie pigboy and others, emboldened them to step out in the sunlight. This recent spate of confederate rag-flag wavings, kkk meetings/demonstrations, murders of unarmed black people from Emmett Till to Sandra Bland, so far, has proved what I said. Nothing new about the rise of the new wannabe massa of POC. Nothing new at all. I wish that they would all relocate back to the land of their ancestors. That would be one way to get rid of these evil, vicious, murderous people. They are not hiding under sheets anymore and that's a good thing.

up here they are still mostly hidden because they would be called out on the issue not just ignored. I called out a flag waver in my own family this month and not one single member of the family stepped up to defend her. She was doing it mostly out of ignorance but still she was called out as soon as I saw it.

I suspect that it would be harder to call them out in the south since they would have more support.

Someday I hope President Obama writes a book about what it was like being the first black president including the threats to him and his family. There must be many.
